Changing the world one bead at a time!....
Just in case you haven't heard, we've expanded our product offerings into the area of needlework! The new threads are arriving daily!! It will take several months to have everything in place but we've gotten a good start over the holidays. Billie and I want to thank those of you who came to us requesting these additions to the shop. The last year has been an exciting journey. As we embark on our new venture, we appreciate the encouragement and support you’ve shown to us.
Now for the latest at the shop!!
We've got tons of new beading stuff coming in over the next few weeks ~ a new selection of Ojime, elegant handmade silk necklaces ready for your favorite pendant, new amber pendants, and a selection of new products from Beadalon including the "Scrimp", Wire Guardian, beautiful colored stringing wires, new tools and gorgeous CZ's.
Thanks for the feedback about the new store arrangement! We love the change as well.... it makes for a great place to socialize, bead, stitch, and eat! (Favorite activities of both beaders and stitchers!) Join us on Friday evenings ~ we're open 'til 8pm.
Needlework supplies already in stock include hand and overdyed flosses, silks, wools and blends, a huge selection of Rainbow Gallery threads, as well as the basics. We've already received a great selection of books and some terriffic charts and patterns have begun to arrive. The handmade etuis have already been a big hit - the finished boxes are going fast! Our Sterling tools are stunning.
Please forgive our dust as we continue our remodel to accommodate our new product offerings. Though it'll take some time to get everything in order, we're doing our best to insure a smooth transition.
Take note of our new "Beading Basics Series". These classes are specifically to teach a stitch or technique. A bracelet design will focus on the technique learned in class. Any class offered in this series or one labeled "Beading Basics" requires no previous experience to participate and it makes a great beading project! Stitching classes are in the works.....stay tuned!
From the framing corner~ David's finished work is on constant display at the store! It's a veritable art gallery in here. Even if you don't stitch, I know you will appreciate the incredible workmanship and artistry of both the stitcher and framer.
